What awaits You

We are looking for a dedicated and well-structured Technical Media Designer (m/f/d) with experience in prepress production — specializing in artwork preparation and adaptation. You are a talented all-rounder who works quickly, precisely, and reliably. With your open and communicative personality, you serve as the interface between our designers and external partners.
  • Creating final artwork, finalizing layouts, and conducting quality control
  • Strong sense of typography and attention to detail in execution
  • Implementing format and product adaptations, as well as supporting the design team
  • Professional image editing, including retouching and color correction
  • Acting as the main contact for designers, consultants, and clients regarding implementation, print production, finishing techniques, and material selection
  • Coordinating with external partners (printing companies, repro studios, advertising agencies)
  • Workflow optimization

Your profile ideally offers

  • Completed vocational training as a Media Designer for Digital and Print Media or a comparable degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in prepress production
  • Strong typographic sensitivity, typesetting, and composition skills
  • A solid understanding of branding, design, and color
  • Knowledge of print finishing and production processes (especially in packaging design, posters, and out-of-home media)
  • Expertise in color management (print & digital)
  • Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Firefly, and InDesign
  • Organized and structured working style, as well as team spirit and flexibility
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
NICE TO HAVE
  • Basic knowledge of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney)
  • Basic expertise in digital publishing and cross-media production
  • Knowledge of automation / InDesign adaptation workflows
  • Advanced knowledge of reproduction and prepress production processes
